strawberry lassi recipe is a tasty blend of strawberries, yoghurt, milk and sugar. it forms a refreshing summer drink in India.

strawberry lassi is quite easy to make and is delicious too. few strawberries are blended in to the regular lassi giving it a fruity punch.

lassi is basically a yoghurt based drink which can be made both salty and sugary. the most famous and popular lassis that are made are salty lassi, sweet lassi, cardamom flavored lassi, mango lassi and many more. these are widely made during summers in India and are served chilled.

you can also add a pinch of cardamom powder and rose water to give it more flavor, I like my lassi as it is.

  • 5-6 fresh ripe strawberries, stalk removed and chopped
  • 1 cup yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar or as per preference
  • few ice cubes (optional)

Directions for making strawberry lassi recipe

1. Blend the strawberries along with sugar in a blender to a smooth puree.

2. Add yoghurt and milk and blend again till frothy. You can adjust the thickness as per your preference by adding a little more or less of yoghurt and milk.

3. Pour into serving glasses, add ice cubes if using and serve immediately.
